Cada curso académico la Hanze University of Applied Sciences ofrece un plaza de becario en su International Office del Instiuut Voor Marketing & Management para los estudiantes que deseen realizar sus prácticas en el extranjero.
Se trata de unas prácticas remuneradas, por un período de 10 meses. Hablar holandés no es un requisito, pero sí lo es un buen dominio del inglés. También se valorarán anteriores experiencias en el extranjero, así como el conocimiento de otras lenguas – en especial, el español. En el document que se adjunta a continuación puedes encontrar una mayor descripción de la oferta para que pueda hacérsela llegar a sus estudiantes.

Objectives
The purpose of this internship is to provide the student the opportunity to put into practice
the theoretical knowledge acquired in classes. The student will also gain work experience
and she or he will experience how to work in an international environment.
Required skills
- University degree is required.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Language skills (be fluent in English. An additional language will be valued, specially
Dutch and Spanish)
- Good computer skills (including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point)
- Good intercultural competences
- Ability to organize and plan tasks
- Ability to handle partners and students professionally
- Ability to follow directions
- Ability to work both in a team and independently
Tasks
The responsibilities in order to meet these objectives are the following:
- Handle the international agreements
- Contact prospective partners in order to reach new agreements
- Contact current partners to check if there has been any change in the contract
situation
- Analyze incoming and outgoing data to create reports about it
- Keep updated any information related to the International Office
- Prepare material, documents and arrange meetings for International Fairs
- Organize information sessions about study abroad
- Welcome the new incoming students and provide them any information needed
- Help the outgoing students with their destination decision-making
- Create incoming and outgoing lists
- Create meeting schedules for study abroad counseling
- Attend Ms. Altenburg’s mail
- Any other small daily tasks that could come up
