Travelling Summer School on Professional Skills Development of PhD candidates - PhD for industry or academia

The career path of doctoral holders is highly exposed to international or transnational contexts where mobility both geographical as well as intra- or inter-sectoral becomes a crucial, or very often, an indispensable element of career progression. These conditions trigger a need to investigate skill requirements for enhanced career opportunities of doctorate holders, with special regard to transferable skills development such as technical proficiency, adaptability, creativity, team work, entrepreneurial mindset, social skills or leadership potential. 

 

The School will be held in one EU (Bulgaria) and one non-EU (Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia) country and will be made available to PhD students from both Balkan states and SG members. It will take place between 29 August and 4 September 2011.

Erasmus International Week for teachers in Bydgoszcz (Poland) 24th – 28th of October 2011

The purpose of the meeting is to welcome teachers from our partner institutions in order to acquaint each other and share experiences but also to enhance the process of “internationalization at home” thanks to lectures and presentations given by the hosted teachers to our students.

In the programme we can offer you different forms of teaching activities as well as cultural events according to Polish Presidency in EU. We can welcome up to 50 persons. In order to participate in the EIW you have to fill in the attached application form.

The main communication language will be English.
